We'd Like You To...
- Lead a team of developers to produce state-of-the-art web and enterprise applications that adhere to Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) paradigms.
- Architect applications for scale, loose coupling, code elagance, user experience, and developer productivity.
- Develop software tools and lightweight frameworks in support of the team's development activities.
- Work with program managers and with our clients in a collaborative environment to set schedules and track milestones.
- Perform code reviews and help the team maintain beautiful code.
Do You Have…
- Passion (= love) for software development, computers, and programming!
- A degree in computer science, computer engineering, or related subject from a top tier Canadian or American University?
- Private sector experience in a technology startup or smaller organization within an established technology company?
- Ability to work independently and in teams, with effective communication skills, both oral and written?
- Software experience... Say 8 years experience in software development?
- Web experience... Say 5 years experience programming experience in scalable web applications in C# .NET, J2EE, RoR, Python, or C++ with knowledge of XHTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX?
- Leadership experience... Say 3 years experience managing a team of developers, planning out iterative development cycles using agile methods, outlining deliverables, and software test planning?
- Client experience... Say 2 years experience as a business analyst working with external and internal clients to define requirements, prototype concepts, and evaluate technical options?
- Architecture experience... A real understanding of enterprise design patterns, SOA, asynchronous messaging systems, XML Web Services, AOP, cloud computing, and test-driven development.
And Would You Like To…
- Take a leadership role in designing next generation web applications, intelligent systems, and SOA solutions?
- Work with the latest technologies like .NET 3.5+ (WPF, WCF, WWF), Java EE, AJAX, Amazon EC2/S3, Linux, SQL Server 2008, and Oracle 11g?
- Work in a cohesive team of industry professionals?
- Be involved from concept planning through to product delivery?
- Get exposure to a variety of high end projects, tasks, and responsibilities that offer you challenge and professional growth?
- Have creative control and independence with your projects?
And It Would Be Nice if You Could…
- Work on machine learning and data mining algorithms
- Develop for mobile applications for iPhone and BlackBerry
